Spring 2018 Seminar
"This Sacred Earth: Ancient Guidance for the Present Time"
Saturday, April 14, 2018 • Marriott Hotel, Pueblo, Colorado • 9:45 am - 4 pm
"In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you." --Buddha |
The New World is rising, weaving itself from the old, troubled world that is passing. We are summoning its sacredness through our hearts, our bodies, our longings. If we are paying attention, we might notice that rising within us and around us are new, yet ancient guidance systems.
We are waking up to possibility instead of hopelessness, joy instead of stagnation, unity instead of division, abundance instead of lack. Planet Earth, a marvelous sentient being in her own right, generously offers us grounding and inspiration. Please join us for our April 2018 seminar as we explore the ancient guidance from the Americas—particularly Mayan—but also other Native American and Oriental cultures. Our powerful, gifted speakers will offer timely perspectives for what is occurring in our world now—and guidance for the way through these challenges. |

"Ancient Spiritual Wisdom and the Sacred Cultures of the Americas"
Raymond Tarpey, historian and researcher of ancient spiritual legacies, will share powerful teachings applicable to our present experience. What did the ancients teach about this time we are in? What of their understanding can assist us in deepening into the planetary service we are called to render? How did they understand the sacredness of Mother Earth? From Mayan/Aztec history and spirituality to the Anasazi, Peruvian, Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese—and ancient Atlantian/Lemurian peoples—Raymond brings the perspective of the eons. He carries a particular passion for Mayan spirituality and the cultures of the “red lands,” the Western USA.

"The Mayan Portal--Our Window to the Cosmos"
Eduardo Griego will share with us the sacred science and teachings of the K’iche’ Maya taught to him by Mayan Elders of Guatemala. This includes information found in the Codex of Tikal that teaches the Sacred Mayan Calendar, Chol’ Q’ij, and the connection of the glyphs and tones to the human heart. The sacred sounds or harmonics of each glyph and each number can balance our mind, body, and spirit. Each Fuego Sagrado, or fire ceremony, is performed by Ajq’ij, an initiated “Counters of the Days” of the Maya, according to the ways of the ancestors, the Ajq’ibab.
Eduardo will describe various ceremonial traditions using sound, copal, candles and stones that can be adapted by us—such as the Three Hearthstones of Creation, and the Four Balams of the Pleiades, which according to the Maya teachings connect us to the stars. The Maya teach that we are going through the next quantum transformation of our planet and how to prepare for this birthing of the New Earth. They encourage us to remember our responsibility as carriers of the “Sacred Bundle” within our DNA, and to apply ourselves by using the Creator given powers to assist in this Oxlajuj or transformation. Eduardo says, “I am convinced that we human beings are part of the great weaving of the Tzute of Life on the Mayan Loom of Light and Love. We are here to be a thread in the fabric of the future, the new matrix, and to remember who we are.” |
In 1993, Eduardo Griego, changed from being the CEO of his Boulder-based advertising and public relations company, to researching and understanding Mayan science and prophesies—eventually being initiated as a Counter of Days in their tradition. In 1997, after various life-changing events—including a profound encounter with a wolf—Ed decided to travel to Guatemala in search of information. There he met his Maya teachers, Tat Jose Coutino, Ajq’ij and Sacerdotiza Maya del Fuego y del Agua, Carla Cofiño, of Antigua.
Over the next three years Ed travelled back and forth to Antigua many times in order to walk the Camino de Agua, Water Path, and Camino del Fuego, Fire Path in the Mayan traditions. He was initiated in 2000 and began his work as an Ajq’ij, Counter of the Days. For the last ten years he has conducted many Mayan sacred fire ceremonies and classes throughout New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Eduardo resides in Pueblo, CO |
